中国现代戏剧的“现代性”是关乎中国现代戏剧研究的一个核心问题。本文从三个方面对中国现代戏剧的“现代性”进行理论说明。第一,考察中国现代戏剧的“现代性”的逻辑起点是明确“现代”的含义,即中国晚清之际所引入的“现代”观念是从西方舶来的,其背后的语境就是19世纪中后叶在西方强势文明侵入下的近代西学东渐。第二,中国现代戏剧的开端,是从晚清引入、模仿西方近代戏剧开始的,中国现代戏剧开始的标志就是1906年中国留日学生的“春柳社”模仿、借鉴欧美、日本新剧从事的新剧演出活动。第三,中国现代戏剧从20世纪20年代正式提出建立中国“现代”戏剧的口号,并进行一系列的建立中国现代戏剧的戏剧实践活动,于20世纪30年代中叶完成了中国现代戏剧的理论和实践总结。
The “Modernity” of Chinese Modern Drama is a Core Issue Related to the Study of Modern Chinese Drama. This article explains the “modernity” of modern Chinese drama from three aspects.
