“色又艳,纸又白,年画打从武强来。武强年画是中国北方的四大年画之一,兴于明,盛于清,至明末城内还有年画作坊400余家,全县达1500余家,可以说是户户雕木版,家家绘丹青。1985年武强县年画博物馆落成,2003年在旧城村又发现了一批古版,几十家媒体的跟踪报道更使武强年画名声远播。
