王实甫《西厢记》既是戏曲文学经典,也是文人清唱和戏曲舞台表演的擅场之作。本文对明清时期文人笔记记载的《西厢记》演唱资料进行了勾勒,对戏曲选本收录《西厢记》、文人及曲家们所制订的《西厢记》曲谱与演剧本、文学作品中有关《西厢记》演唱情形的描写进行了论列,从而说明,虽然明清时期北《西厢记》的演唱逐渐衰退,不过它并没有从清唱、演出场上完全退出,北《西厢记》的演唱始终不绝如缕地存在于厅堂及场上。
Wang Shih-fu’s The Romance of the West Chamber is not only a classic of opera literature, but also a masterpiece of the literary singing and opera stage performances. This article sketches the singing data of The Romance of The West Chamber documented in literary records of the Ming and Qing dynasties. The selection of operas includes “The Romance of the Western Chamber”, “The Romance of the West Chamber” and the operas and literary works about “The West Chamber” It shows that although the performance of “The Romance of the West Chamber” gradually declined during the Ming and Qing dynasties, it did not completely withdraw from the singing and performance fields. The singing of the “The Romance of the West Chamber” never ceaselessly Exist in the hall and the field.
