题记:抗日战争时期,夏衍同志接受党的委托主持《救亡日报》笔政,作家秦牧有诗赞扬这张报纸的功绩,诗曰:“号角当年数救亡,杜鹃啼血为春芳。”
Inscription: During the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, Comrade Xia Yan accepted the party ’s commission to preside over the penitentiary of the Daily Salvation Journal. Writer Qin Mu made a commendation for the merit of this newspaper. The poem reads: "When the horns are salvaged and the cuckoo crows, it is Chunfang.
