The Rimini Protokoll theater group is a combination of three young people. Helgard Haug, Daniel Wetzel and Stefan Kaegi were former students of the Department of Applied Drama at the Universität Gieen. Since 2000, they have started collaborating on theatrical, live art, radio drama and installation works, and in 2003 they began to use the name “Rimini Record.” In their writing, they insist on documentary methods to explore the extraordinary perspective that the drama reflects the reality. For a detailed introduction of the troupe, please refer to this issue of “Making Useful Drama - German Drama” and “Applied Theater Theory” (p.65). “Karl Marx: Capital Theory, Volume I” is one of Rimini’s masterpieces recorded, won the 2008 “war blind radio drama award.”
