《中国姓氏大辞典》共收录了23813个汉字姓氏,除了“赵钱孙李”等耳熟能详的姓氏之外,“一二三四”、“赤橙黄绿”等稀有姓氏也详细在列,被群众戏称为“熊猫姓氏”。姓是家族血缘的标志,更是文化传承的基因,由稀有姓氏引发的文化现象尤其耐人寻味。正如学者王大良所言,“小姓中既有古老的姓,也有新生的姓;既有单姓,也有复姓。它们都有自己的历史,而每段历史几乎都蕴含着动人的故事和传说。”
