自然地理上的山东半岛位于我国东部沿海,是指胶莱河以东的胶东半岛,西北临渤海,东北和南部临黄海,半岛的西部内陆与华北大平原连接,面积3.4万平方千米,是我国最大的半岛。大山东半岛是指从寿光小清河口到日照岚山头的绣针河口以东的部分,覆盖了威海、烟台、青岛、潍坊、日照五市。但考虑到济南、淄博虽然在地理条件上不属于半岛地区,但属于胶东、兰烟铁路沿线的城镇密集地区。再加上国务院关于扩大沿海经济开放区范围的通知中,把济南、青岛、淄博、威海、烟台、潍坊、日照和东营都列为山东沿
The Shandong Peninsula is located on the eastern coast of China. It refers to the Jiaodong Peninsula to the east of the Jiaolai River. It faces the Bohai Sea to the northwest, the Yellow Sea to the northeast and the south, and the west of the peninsula connects with the Great Plains of North China, covering an area of 34,000 square kilometers. It is the largest peninsula in China. Dashan Peninsula is the part from the Xiaoqing Estuary in Shouguang to the east of the Xikou River at the head of Rizhao Mountain in Rizhao, covering the five cities of Weihai, Yantai, Qingdao, Weifang and Rizhao. However, considering that Jinan and Zibo do not belong to the peninsula in terms of geographical conditions, they belong to the dense urban areas along the Jiaodong and Lanyan Railways. In addition, the State Council’s notice on expanding the scope of coastal economic open areas listed Jinan, Qingdao, Zibo, Weihai, Yantai, Weifang, Rizhao, and Dongying as the borders of Shandong.
