现阶段,新课改指出,在初中的思想品德教学中除了要使学生自身体质得到锻炼、掌握一定文化知识外,更重要的是还要对培养他们思想品质方面给予一定的重视。实际上初中的思想品德教学中重点强调着培养学生的个人能力跟个人品德,要想初中生将这一门学科学好,教师所发挥的作用不容忽视。而根据实际经验我们得出最有效的一种教学方式就是情感教学法,所以我们对将情感教学法应用在初中阶段的思想品德教学中具有十分重要的现实意义。
