1.54 μm波段激光在军事、医疗、通讯等领域有重要应用,而铒玻璃激光器以其能直接获得1.54 μm波长激光输出受到广泛关注。中国对铒玻璃激光器进行研究的单位主要有:上海光学精密机械研究所,南开大学和西南技术物理所。对于连续抽运铒玻璃微片激光器,目前中国报道的最大输出功率低于100 mW,国际上报道的最大输出功率约350 mW。我们实验室在2002年实现了激光二极管(LD)抽运自制铒玻璃连续激光运转,其中最大输出功率43 mW,斜率效率10.6%。在原有镱铒共掺磷酸盐玻璃基础上,通过对玻璃组分和稀土离子掺杂浓度的优化,目前我们实现了LD抽运最大输出功率
The 1.54-μm laser has important applications in the fields of military, medical and communications, while the erbium-lasered laser has drawn much attention for its direct laser output at 1.54 μm. China’s erbium glass laser research units are: Shanghai Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics, Nankai University and Southwest Institute of Technical Physics. For continuous pumping of erbium glass microsecond laser, the maximum output power reported by China is less than 100 mW at present, and the maximum output power reported in the world is about 350 mW. Our laboratory realized laser diode (LD) pumping homemade erbium glass continuous laser operation in 2002, of which the maximum output power is 43 mW and the slope efficiency is 10.6%. Based on the original ytterbium erbium co-doped phosphate glass, by optimizing the doping concentration of glass components and rare earth ions, we have achieved the maximum output power of LD pumping
