7.用塑料制作的模具由于金属模具价格昂贵,因而限制了板材冲压在小批量生产中的应用。又因更改零件和产品结构的机会比模具磨损的现象多,使制造模具的人工费用及材料的消耗无法补偿。经验证明,用塑料制造某些结构的模具,也可以成功地加工批量生产的合金板材零件。用塑料制造模具,可使新产品的生产准备时间大为缩短,减少了材料消耗和降低了模具价格。
