Since the 1970s, the financial liberalization advocated by the United States has gradually been imitated and followed by most countries. However, the financial system formed after many years of financial repression has not always been able to adapt to the rapid process of liberalization and reform, which has laid a hidden danger of the crisis. However, financial liberalization only exposes and exacerbates the shortcomings and problems of the original economic and financial systems and is not the root cause of the financial crisis. Therefore, implementing gradual financial liberalization and strengthening policy coordination and prudential supervision are still the inevitable routes for financial reform.
