Earlier this month, the 2012 IBM Global Research Report was released, the largest survey ever conducted over the years, with 102 out of 1709 CEOs surveyed in Greater China. One of the most interesting discoveries this year is that, for the first time, global CEOs have listed “technology” as their most influential external factor. In several surveys over the past 10 years, CEOs have been most concerned with “market factors ”. The report pointed out that the technical and economic factors, especially the interconnected economy, will be the most important external forces affecting the development of global enterprises. Chinese CEOs have been paying more attention to the macroeconomy and the globalization of enterprises, and have noticed much attention to technical factors and collaborative innovation.
