The authors briefly describe the operation of the Dome gold mine for rail tunneling with electro-hydraulic rock drilling rigs and electric scrapers. In this excavation work, the tunneling efficiency is improved, the cost is reduced, and the working conditions for driving are improved. The Dome mine, located in Timmins, Ontario, Canada, is an underground gold mine with a production capacity of 2722t / d. The mine has been in continuous production for 78 years, owned by Placer Dome Inc. and operated by the company.
