药物化学家彭司勋教授系湖南保靖县土家族人,生于1919年7月2日。1942年于国立药专(南京药学院前身)毕业后,在中央卫生实验院(中国医学科学院前身)和上海药物食品检验局工作6年。1948年考取世界卫生组织奖学金去美国马里兰大学和哥伦比亚大学药学院进修,获哥伦比亚大学药学硕士学位。1950年底回国,任南京药学院副教授,1966
Professor Pang Ssu-Hoon, a chemist, is a Tujia ethnic group in Baojing County, Hunan Province. He was born on July 2, 1919. After graduating from National Institute of Materia Medica (the predecessor of Nanjing Pharmaceutical College) in 1942, he worked for six years at the Central Health Laboratory (the predecessor of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences) and the Shanghai Food and Drug Administration. In 1948 to obtain the World Health Organization scholarship to the United States, University of Maryland and Columbia University School of pharmacy, received a master’s degree in pharmacy from Columbia University. Back in late 1950, served as associate professor of Nanjing University of Pharmacy, 1966
