贵阳市民族中学系贵州省二类示范性高中、全国民族中学示范校。学校位于贵阳市花溪大道董家堰,东望国家级湿地公园——花溪十里河滩,南接贵州大学和贵州民族学院,校园整洁、环境优美,文化氛围浓厚。现有学生近2000人,教职工142人,其中,特级、高级、中级教师占全校教师77%,省级、市级骨干教师10余名。学校管理严、校风好、教育教学质量高,有一支敬业、爱生、勇于钻研的教师队伍。近几年均荣获贵阳市高中高考质量评估奖
