人们常说,材料是文章的血肉。又说,三分技法七分选材,这些话道出了选材对写作的重要意义。老师指导学生写作时,也常常会遇到这种情况:有些学生在顺利地审题、立意之后,选材问题却迟迟解决不好,一会儿想用这个材料,一会儿想用那个材料,甚至有个别学生觉得根本就没材料可写。再看交上来的文章,选材平平、陈词滥调、言之无物、毫不引人的文章并不少见。由此看来,加强选材能力的训练,对提高学生的写作水平是至关重要的。选材的目的是为表达主题,突出主题,因此,围绕中心选材是选材的基本要求。具体而言,可用五个字来概括:真、情、实、新、小。
