Recently, Guangdong Province promulgated the “Opinions on Accelerating the Transformation and Upgrading of Dominant Traditional Industries in Our Province”, pointing out that the traditional industries still have a dominant position after experiencing the transformation and upgrading. In Opinions, the role of innovation and independent intellectual property rights in the transformation and upgrading is further enhanced. The Opinion proposes that we should increase the protection of intellectual property rights and promote the advantages of traditional industries in establishing the industry’s IPR protection and early warning, self-regulation, appeals and rights protection mechanisms, and at the same time bring into play the role of intellectual property reform
