目前,中等职业教育面临着前所未有的发展机遇和挑战。由于英语学科在学校教育中的特殊地位,使其成为培养中职学生职业核心能力的有力抓手。然而,英语课堂教学存在课本固定、内容有限、上课形式单一、对中职学生的吸引力不够等局限,严重制约了教育教学目标的达成。英语课外活动形式灵活多样,内容丰富多彩,激发了学生的学习热情,搭建了培养学生职业核心能力的平台,以学以致用的方式实现了学校教育与社会生产劳动的衔接与过渡。
At present, secondary vocational education faces unprecedented opportunities for development and challenges. Due to the special status of the English discipline in school education, it has become a powerful starting point for cultivating professional core competences of secondary vocational students. However, English classroom teaching has the limitations of fixed textbooks, limited contents, a single form of class, and insufficient attractiveness to secondary vocational students, which seriously restricts the attainment of teaching goals. The form of extracurricular activities in English is flexible and diverse, and the content is rich and colorful. It stimulates the students’ enthusiasm for learning and builds a platform for cultivating the students’ professional core competence. The convergence of school education and social production and labor is achieved in a way that is effective in learning.
