虽然社会信息化的发展正在取得进展,但阴极射线管(CRT)仍然是显示系统领域的主流。随着集成电路和数据处理技术的飞速发展,正在寻求超过CRT功能和具有优越特性的显示系统。特别是,微处理机的出现使计算机日益普及,但微计算机使用CRT却出现了各种各样的问题,如体积大,工作电压高,功耗大等。在此情况下,取代CRT显示系统的研制工作迅速兴起。因而以平板、低电压操作,高亮度,快速响应,灰度显示和彩色显示为目标的显示器件纷纷上马。
Although progress is being made in the development of social informatization, Cathode Ray Tube (CRT) remains the mainstream in display systems. With the rapid development of integrated circuits and data processing technologies, display systems that exceed CRT functions and have superior characteristics are being sought. In particular, the advent of microprocessors has made computers increasingly popular, but the use of CRTs in microcomputers has caused a variety of problems such as large size, high operating voltage and large power consumption. In this case, the research and development to replace the CRT display system is rapidly emerging. Therefore, flat panel, low voltage operation, high brightness, fast response, grayscale display and color display as the goal of the display devices have been launched.
