《爱你没商量》总的感觉是不错的,当然还没有好到“没商量”的地步。不过,与眼下正红火的港台武打片《戏说乾隆》、《新白娘子传》,《少年张三丰》相比,它还是比较严肃的。王朔等人的作品非英雄化的倾向较明显,他们不热衷于写以前那种高大完美的英雄形象或轰轰烈烈的英雄事件。他们笔下的人物性格不单一,这些人物有错误,有牢骚,甚至有私心,但在某些时候,显出了内心善良和美的一面。因此,《爱你没商量》是有追求的,不能说是“痞子文学”,更不能说是“商品文化”。由于以上原因,《爱》剧中的人物更接近生活,从总体上看,演员的表演很生活化,适合剧情的需要。有些演员来自话剧团体,演起来感受就更真切。如冯宪珍演的宋凯、王奎荣的范建平很有生活气息,也很活。一些场面的表演,如排练场非常象,令人信服。
