党的十六届三中全会通过的《中共中央关于完善社会主义市场经济体制若干问题的决定》明确提出,要树立以人为本、全面协调可持续的科学发展观。坚持科学发展观,就要更加注重以人为本,推动经济社会全面、协调、可持续的发展,实现社会主义物质文明、政治文明和精神文明共同进步。
The “Decision of the CPC Central Committee on Several Issues Regarding Perfecting the Socialist Market Economic System” passed by the Third Plenary Session of the 16th CPC Central Committee clearly put forward that it is necessary to establish a people-oriented and comprehensively coordinated and sustainable scientific concept of development. To adhere to the scientific concept of development, we must pay more attention to putting people first and promote a comprehensive, coordinated and sustainable economic and social development so that the common progress of socialist material civilization, political civilization and spiritual civilization will be achieved.
