中国跨世纪5年铁路建设11项重点工程之一——东北至长江三角洲海陆铁路通道将启动建设。 据了解,这条海陆通道,北起哈尔滨市,利用既有的哈大铁路至大连,新建大连至烟台海上轮渡,跨越渤海海峡抵烟台。再利用蓝烟铁路至蓝村,新建蓝村至新沂铁路,穿越山东南部及江苏北部地区,在新沂与陇海铁路相接继续南下。新建铁路经淮阴、盐城、海安、于靖江和江阴间以轮渡过长江,在无锡地区与京沪铁路相接,再经宜兴至浙江长兴,与宜杭铁路接轨。全长约2200公里。
