固定修复比活动修复具有稳固、耐用、舒适、功能好、发音清晰及不需反复摘戴等优点。过去,国内外固定修复中多用开面冠、3/4冠及全冠等。这些方法修复切割牙体组织较多,增加患者不适,同时金属外露较多,特别是前牙列的修复体影响美观。因而临床应用受到了一定的限制。我科自1963年以来,试用了一种新的冠外固位体,由于它的外形颇似“U”形,故称为“U形冠”。十几年来我们用它代替了开面冠,3/4冠及全冠(前牙列)等,经过171例
