“孔子文化”主要指中国教育家、思想家孔子(公元前551年―公元前479年)创立的一系列思想理论,是中国传统文化的重要组成部分。大学英语教学主要指中国高校在大学教育阶段为学生提供的与英语语言文化相关的课程教学。孔子文化的核心理论是“仁、义、礼、智、信、孝、悌”等。它概括了人类美好品德以及人类美好行为的标准,是值得中国人自豪并用心传承的中国优秀传统文化。它同样具有普世价值,值得国人和世界人民传承。本文主要研究孔子文化融入大学英语教学的必要性、可行性和融入方法。希望为中国孔子文化的进一步传承提供积极建议
“Confucius culture” mainly refers to a series of ideological theories founded by Chinese educator and thinker Confucius (551 BC - 479 BC) and is an important part of Chinese traditional culture. College English teaching mainly refers to Chinese colleges and universities in the university education phase for students with English language and culture-related course teaching. The core theory of Confucius culture is “benevolence, righteousness, courtesy, wisdom, faith, filial piety, fairness,” and so on. It outlines the standards of good human beings and the good deeds of mankind. It is an excellent traditional Chinese culture worthy of Chinese pride and tradition. It also has universal values and deserves the inheritance of both Chinese and people of the world. This paper mainly studies the necessity, feasibility and integration of Confucius culture into college English teaching. Hope for the further inheritance of Confucius culture in China to provide positive suggestions
