随着教学改革的不断深入,英语教材着重语言功能与主题紧密结合,以提高学生素质教育为核心的“素质教育”已纳入轨道。英语实用性很强,譬如现在报上刊登的各类招聘不免加上这样的条件:英语口语好优先。学语言,贵在“善言”。只动手而不动口,亦可算学了或学好了该语种与当今的教学大纲格格不入!可见,提高学生的英语口头表达能力迫在眉睫,尤其在我国改革开放的新形势下,作为一名外语教师,更是责无旁贷!本文想从英语教师的教学体会出发,就“四会”之一——“说”方面谈谈英语教学中如何提高学生的英语口语表达能力。
