科学技术领域里有发明,甚至社会科学领域也有自己的发明。但是,人们很少谈论人文科学领域的发明。本文通过语言学、文学、艺术、心理学、哲学和宗教等领域里的发明案例,尤其是通过文学理论领域的宣言及其对文学发展的贡献,表明在人文科学里不但需要开辟自己的实践领域,从事人文发明,而且人文发明还可以改造人文学科所研究的对象。与科学技术、社会科学领域的发明家一样,人文科学领域里的发明家同样应该受到尊重和重视。在科研体系里,在高校和科研机构里,应该有人文发明的位置。
