The paper discusses the first phase applied to the development and production of seamless pipe with a minimum of 100 ksi and the main results of the second phase used to evaluate the weldability of high strength seamless steel pipe. The first stage and the second stage have been made to ensure the best strength - toughness of the main microstructure. The results of haz- ardous quality qualification of the HAZ features such as API RP2Z have been defined as the result of girth welds running in a typical ocean.
