In 1989, we retrospectively analyzed the causes of death in Tangshan City for three years from 1985 to 1987. The results showed that the accidental death rate in the eastern mining area was higher than that in Luonan and Lubei districts in the same period. The accidental death of urban residents in the area of Tangshan from 1985 to 1987 is reported as follows: I.
