吳柳生教授在引證格娃斯捷夫教授计算雙向板的基本公式時,會假定对邊支座破損撓矩對稱的情况,在平衡公式中,直接引用了M_1及M_2作為跨度撓矩,本文根據塑性鉸線的特性,指出這是不適當的,並介紹了格娃斯捷夫教授計算多角形均質板的極限載荷的方法,分析矩形均質板承受均佈載荷的結果,證明塑性鉸線並不與板邊交成45°。格娃斯捷夫公式僅為一近似的公式,但計算所得的破損撓矩,誤差甚微。同時,並重行引證了式(3)。
