研究了β-胡萝卜素(β-carotene)在SwissNIH/3T3细胞中的代谢情况及其对促癌剂TPA(12-o-tetradecanoyl-13-phorbol-acetate)抑制NIH/3T3细胞间隙连接通讯(GJIC)的影响。结果显示:β-胡萝卜素在NIH/3T3细胞中不能转化为视黄醇,对NIH/3T3细胞GJIC功能有诱导作用,同时对TPA抑制NIH/3T3细胞GJIC功能有不同程度的拮抗作用。提示β-胡萝卜素的抗癌作用可能与细胞GJIC功能变化有关。
The metabolism of β-carotene in Swiss NIH/3T3 cells and its inhibition of NIH/3T3 cell gap junctional communication by TPA (12-o-tetradecanoyl-13-phorbol-acetate) was studied. )Impact. The results showed that β-carotene could not be converted into retinol in NIH/3T3 cells, which could induce the GJIC function of NIH/3T3 cells, and it also had different degrees of antagonism on the inhibition of GJIC function of NIH/3T3 cells by TPA. It is suggested that the anticancer effect of β-carotene may be related to the change of cellular GJIC function.
