西山国家森林公园位于北京西郊小西山,距城区仅20公里,南起石景山区模式口,北至海淀区温泉乡,东起温颐公路,西至军庄、永定河谷;地跨海淀、石景山、门头沟三区;拥有昌华、百望、静福、凌云、北岭五大景区,小西山属太行山余脉,以北京西山试验林场为基础,公园总面积5974.8公顷,有林地5196.8公顷,林木覆盖率87%。是京郊风景区的重要组成部分,是距北京市区最近的一座国家级森林公园。
Xishan National Forest Park is located in the western suburbs of Beijing Xiaoxishan, only 20 kilometers away from the city, south of Shijingshan District mode mouth, north to Hot Spring Township, Haidian District, East Wen Yi Road, west to military Zhuang, Yongding Valley; across Haidian, Shijingshan , Mentougou three districts; with Changhua, Baiwang, Jingfu, Lingyun, North Ridge five scenic spots, the small Xishan is the Taihang Mountains veins to Beijing Xishan Experimental Forest Farm as the basis, the park a total area of 5974.8 hectares, with forest land 5196.8 hectares, forest cover Rate of 87%. Is an important part of the scenic suburb of Beijing, Beijing is the nearest urban area from a national forest park.
