促红细胞生成素(erythropoietin,EPO)作为一种重要的红系分化的细胞因子而存在于体内,近些年来已经被证实是一种可以促进脑和心肌发育的生长因子。EPO主要是由肾皮质中的纤维样细胞产生的。基于此种重要的解剖结构基础以及其在脑和心肌的重要促进生长发育的作用,此项实验主要探讨了EPO是否在肾皮质生长发育中起重要作用。EPO主要通过与促红细胞生成素受体(EPOR)结合而发挥作用。
Erythropoietin (EPO) exists as an important erythroid differentiation cytokine and has been shown to be a growth factor that promotes brain and cardiac development in recent years. EPO is mainly produced by fibroid cells in the renal cortex. Based on this important anatomical basis and its important role in promoting brain growth and development in the brain and myocardium, this experiment explores whether EPO plays an important role in the development of renal cortex. EPO functions mainly by binding to the erythropoietin receptor (EPOR).
