隨着祖國工農業迅速的發展,很自然的会想到文化教育建設的高潮將要到來,同時根据苏联的先進經驗和祖國的客观需要,我們势必要向基本生產技術教育方面發展,我們都知道,“數学是基本生產技術教育的基礎”,但是如何打好这个基礎呢?我們認为課本的改編就是主要的一环,以前对舊本立体幾何(刘薰宇編以後简称舊書)虽有很多老師提出宝貴意見,但究竟如何掌握書中教材以貫徹教学大綱的精神,全國教師还缺少統一的指導和統一的步調,因而在一定程度上影响了教学效果,为了解决这个迫切的問題,人民教育出版社幾位同志經过長期的鑽研,並吸取各方面的經驗,重新編訂了立体幾何課本,我們实驗中学(前師大女附中),去年幸运的試用新書並得到編者的帮助,在教学中走了一些捷徑,由於新書即將出版与全國老師見面,我們願意簡單地談談我們对它的一些使用後的体会。
