2008年12月30日,由中共合肥市委宣传部、合肥市文联,亚明艺术馆主办的“传承与缅怀——二十世纪安徽中国画八家(萧龙士·孔小瑜·懒悟·申茂之·光元鲲·童雪鸿·王石岑·徐子鹤)作品展”在合肥亚明艺术馆隆重举行。当天下午,来自北京、江苏和安徽的美术界,理论界专家举行了学术研讨会,他们从不同角度分析了安徽在20世纪中国画传承中的作用与地位。作为合肥市2008年的一项重要文化项目,20世纪安徽八位名家精品展览向世人全面展示了这一时期“国画皖军”的学术业绩,被学术界誉为是“续写20世纪安徽美术谱系,展示20世纪安徽美术成就的扛鼎之展”。
