钾对水稻生长发育有多方面的作用,钾能使细胞质胶体充水膨胀,有利代谢作用的进行,减少蒸发,增强抗寒能力。钾能提高光合作用的强度,有利于醣类的合成,钾还能促进维管束的发育,增加厚角组织的强度,能使茎秆强健,抵抗倒伏。因此,要想获得水稻高产,钾肥是不可缺少的。随着我省复种指数和单位面积产量的提高,以及杂交水稻的扩大种植和较普遍地增施氮、磷化肥等,土壤内钾素供应状况和每单位钾肥的增产效果也随之发生变化。目前我省磷、钾化肥肥效的变化趋势是:磷肥增产效果显著下降,钾肥增产效果明显上升。部分社队如1974年常德地区汉寿
Potassium has many effects on the growth and development of rice. Potassium can make the cytoplasm of colloid water-filled and swollen and facilitate the metabolism, reduce the evaporation and enhance the ability of cold-resistance. Potassium can increase the intensity of photosynthesis, is conducive to the synthesis of carbohydrates, potassium can also promote the development of vascular bundles, increase the strength of thick angle tissue, can stalk robust, resistant to lodging. Therefore, in order to obtain high yields of rice, potash is indispensable. With the increase of multiple cropping index and yield per unit area in our province, the expansion planting of hybrid rice and the more general application of N and P fertilizers, the supply of potassium and the yield increase of potash fertilizer per unit area will also change. At present, the change trend of fertilizer efficiency of phosphorus and potassium fertilizer in our province is that the effect of increasing phosphorus fertilizer remarkably decreases and the effect of increasing potassium fertilizer increases obviously.
