Aromatic amine N-acetyltransferase (NATs) is a phase Ⅱ drug metabolizing enzyme, which plays an important role in drug metabolism and detoxification. It is a promising new drug target. At present, its research mainly focuses on the crystal structure of enzymes and in the study of polymorphisms of different species, species and the same race and species. However, the study of its own physiological activity and pharmacological effects also relatively Weak. This paper reviews the structure of NATs, the pharmacological mechanisms of NAT carcinogenesis, the endogenous effects of NATs, the inactivators / inhibitors of NATs, alternatives to NATs, kinetic studies, the polymorphisms and diseases of NATs, the activity of NATs Determination methods and other aspects of a more comprehensive exposition.
