在过去的几年中,因特网作为一项卓越的新技术迅速涌现。这一如此强大的科技工具所带来的影响开始遍及世界的教育,商业和经济等各个方面。对于语言学习来说,新的机会已经由于因特网的出现及生活中科技的普及而不断被创造出来。由于大部分因特网的内容为英语,英语教师便可以不需任何花费得到有关生活各方面的可靠材料。尤其是对于那些不讲英语并且不太容易获得资料的国家,网络对于教师准备课堂材料和学生探究整个世界都是无价的资料来源,而他们所需要做的仅仅是点击鼠标。自从学校,学院和大学的EFL(英语作为外国语)教育开始被因特网所影响,“网络”的发展便引发了英语写作教学的革命。本文将试图去探讨因特网作为教学工具或教育媒体在英语写作教学中的应用问题。
In the past few years, the Internet has emerged as a remarkable new technology. The impact of such a powerful science and technology tool has spread throughout the world in all aspects of education, commerce and economics. For language learning, new opportunities have been continually created by the advent of the Internet and the proliferation of technology in life. Since most of the Internet’s contents are in English, English teachers can get reliable materials on all aspects of life without any cost. Especially for countries that do not speak English and are less likely to have access to information, the internet is an invaluable source of information for teachers preparing classroom materials and for students to explore the world, all they need to do is click the mouse. Since the beginning of the EFL (English as a Foreign Language) education in schools, colleges and universities has been influenced by the Internet, the development of the “Internet” has sparked a revolution in the teaching of English writing. This article will attempt to explore the application of the Internet as a teaching tool or educational medium in English writing teaching.
