日前,笔者从宁波检验检疫局W T O办公室获悉,2013年8月22日,泰国食品药品监督管理局︵T h a i F D A︶发布了一份通知草案,将杀虫剂灭多虫︵m e t h o m y l︶重新归类为类型4有害物质。此前该物质被归类为类型3物质,该变化将导致灭多虫在消费品和农产品中被禁。泰国F D A调查了该物质对人类生命和健康的危害,包括美国环保局︵E P A︶、世界卫生组织︵W H O︶和其他相关研究提供的农产品毒性残留问题。由于其高毒性和对人类健康的急性危害,权威机构提出禁止灭多虫在家用产品
Recently, the author learned from the WTO office of Ningbo Inspection and Quarantine Bureau that on August 22, 2013, Thai Food and Drug Administration issued a notice to reclassify the insecticide meththomyl For type 4 hazardous substances. Previously, the substance was classified as a Type 3 substance, and the change would result in the banning of pests in consumer and agricultural products.
