今年上半年我国外贸顺差达1125亿美元,相当于去年全年顺差的2/3,同比增长83.1%。截至6月末,国家外汇储备达到13326亿美元,同比增长41.6%;从绝对值上看,今年上半年外汇储备增加2663亿美元,已经超过2006年全年的2473亿美元增长额。外贸顺差和外汇储备双项的高增长,意味着政府针对流动性过剩出台的调控措施尚未见效。
In the first half of this year, China’s foreign trade surplus reached 112.5 billion U.S. dollars, equivalent to 2/3 of the annual surplus last year and a year-on-year increase of 83.1%. As of the end of June, the foreign exchange reserves of the country reached 1.3236 trillion U.S. dollars, up 41.6 percent over the same period of last year. In terms of absolute value, the foreign exchange reserves in the first half of this year increased by 266.3 billion U.S. dollars, surpassing the growth of 246.7 billion U.S. dollars in 2006. The high growth of the bilateral trade surplus and foreign exchange reserves mean that the government’s control measures for the excess liquidity have not yet taken effect.
