黄精和玉竹同属百合科黄精属。其原植物较易鉴别,但药用根茎极相似,药房中有时混用。但二者成份和效用不尽相同,仍应分别使用。近二、三年来,我们详细观察了本院所种植的原植物,并按有关书籍鉴定学名为:黄精Polygonatum Sibiricum Red.玉竹Polygonatumofficinale All’.均为1963年版药典收载的品种。观察结果,发现一些较明显的特征,得出了如下的鉴别方法:
Huangjing and Yuzhu belong to the genus Huangjing of Liliaceae. The original plants are relatively easy to identify, but the medicinal rhizomes are very similar and sometimes mixed in pharmacies. However, the composition and utility of the two are not the same and they should still be used separately. In the past two or three years, we have observed in detail the original plants grown in our hospital and identified the scientific names as Polygonatum Sibiricum Red. Polygonatum officinale All’. These are all varieties that were included in the 1963 edition of the Pharmacopoeia. Observing the results and finding some of the more obvious features, the following identification method was obtained:
