Foreword In some deposits, it seems that at least some of the metallogenic metals are supplied by the surrounding rock. For example, in the Muamoto porphyry copper deposit in the eastern part of Malaysia, the chalcopyrite that has been disseminated in serpentinite has a higher nickel content than the chalcopyrite that has been disseminated in the altered quartz amphibolite. Therefore, the geochemical distribution of various trace elements is very important in exploring the sources of metals that make up the deposit. Of the various trace elements, nickel and cobalt are the only metals used in this study. This article collected and sorted igneous rock nickel and cobalt geochemical data. Approximately 540 numbers have been collected from 38 published sources
