话说城南中学,西有一座两层小楼,这里绿树成荫,甚是幽静,乃是读书的好去处。高中第四年,高复老师去本班鼓吹道:“进了高复班,一只脚已踏进大学校门。”本人不屑道:“事在人为,条条大路通罗马,为何一定要走这条独木桥?”老师大怒,曰:“现在不为,何以将来能有所为?”鄙人针锋相对,拍案而起,大声道:“人各有志,如有人愿去,自然便去,何劳你来布道?”

If anyone wishes to go, it will naturally go. Why don’t you come? Preaching?"
