据《人民日报》报道：去年10月，辽宁丹东市委组织部在全市机关党组织中普遍实行了“党费交纳日”制度，即把每月固定的一天作为党员集中交纳党费时间。读到这则消息笔者起初感到奇怪，实行“党费交纳日”制度居然成了新闻，然细细品味却意义不凡，忍不住想谈谈自己粗浅看法。党章明确规定：“年满18周岁的中国工人、农民、军人、知识分子和其他革命分子，承认党的纲领和章程，愿意参加党的一个组织并在其中积极工作，执行党的决议和按期交纳党费的，可以申请加入中国共产党。”可见按期交纳党费，是每一个共产党员应尽的义务，也是对党员党性的检验。
