“南昌故郡,洪都新府”。正当人们以无限怀恋之情沉迷在赣文化的盛况唐宋之时,黄秋园奇迹般地被发现,使全国人民的视觉再次指向了具有“物华天宝,人杰地灵”之称的当代南昌,紧接着迅速形成的“秋园热”至今已有八个年头了。八年来《黄秋园画集》(赣美版)一版、二版、三版,随后人民美术出版社与台湾绵秀出版社又联合出版了《黄秋园画集》,香港大业公司出版了《黄秋园中国画集》,台湾长流出版社出版的《近现代中国十大名家画集》,其中便有黄秋园。
