In the late 1970s, malaria had been eradicated in many parts of the world due to widespread programs of eradication and malaria control, and so far 400 million people have been relieved of the threat of malaria, yet 50% of the world’s population is still living with malaria In endemic areas, some countries that have already eliminated malaria have re-emerged from malaria. That is the case in the United States where the number of malaria-causing Americans who travel abroad has increased significantly. In order to further determine the risk of malaria in the United States while traveling abroad and to strengthen anti-malarial programs, the author analyzed the prevalence of malaria in 1970-1976
