2003年11月28日-30日,浙江、江西、江苏、上海、山东、安徽、广东、湖南、河南、福建九省一市公安厅(局)交(巡)警总队领导齐聚福州,对即将到来的2004年春运的主要特点和可能出现的问题进行深入分析,探讨进一步加强区域协作、互通信息、消除安全隐患确保春运安全的对策。公安部交通管理局贾平总工程师到会指导。会议最后形成了《闽浙赣苏沪鲁皖粤湘豫春运交通安全协作会议纪要》。
