由文化部和中国文联主办,中央美术学院、中国美术家协会、中国美术馆和吴作人国际美术基金会承办的“纪念吴作人诞辰90周年·吴作人艺术大展”于1999年4月20日下午在中国美术馆隆重开幕。本次展览以宏大的规模展出吴作人先生各个时期的代表性作品470幅,其中油画152幅,中国画80幅,速写156幅,书法诗词手稿墨迹82幅,许多油画写生、炭笔速写、书信手迹是过去从未展出和发表过的作品,在这次展览中第一次同广大观众见面。4月21日上午在北京国际艺苑举行“吴作人诞辰90周年纪念座谈会”,并于4月23日及26日下午在中央美术学院附中举行两场关于“吴作人艺术及其现代意义”的报告会,邀请靳尚谊、钟涵、侯一民和潘世
Organized by the Ministry of Culture and China Federation of Literature, the Central Academy of Fine Arts, the Chinese Artists Association, the National Art Museum of China and the Wu Zuoren International Art Foundation hosted the 90th anniversary of Wu Zuoren’s Wu Zuoren Art Exhibition on the afternoon of April 20, 1999 in China Art Museum grand opening. This exhibition presents a large-scale display of 470 pieces of representative works by Mr. Wu Zuoren in various periods, including 152 paintings, 80 Chinese paintings, 156 sketches and 82 manuscripts of calligraphic poems. Many sketches of oil paintings, charcoal sketches and handwritten letters Is a work that has never been exhibited or published in the past. For the first time in this exhibition, we meet with a large audience.
