十月金秋,杭州秋高气爽、金桂飘香,武林广场又张挂起了巨幅的横标《’96浙江根艺美术活动日》,这是省根艺美术学会主办的第二届根艺广场活动了。18日开始省内各地的会员就担挑肩扛陆续报到登记,19日一大早各厂家、公司、研究所的大卡汽车就相继开到了广场按划分的地区,自动布满了各自的展品和产品,观众早已拥挤到了展台观赏。20日清晨风和日丽、旭日东升,观众拿着“入场券”摩肩接踵地涌进了展场,一时拥拥挤挤,水泄不通。一进展场,第一个展区是自然造型,从主题性《根艺之火》到欣赏型的根书根画,从巨型的《闹天、补天》,到微型的鸟兽动物,有寓意内涵、哲理深刻的力作,也有耐人寻味、富于美感的精品。转到右侧是局部雕刻的展区:这里有大师名家的新作,也有新星、新苗的精品。张德和的竹根雕《根》、王京的黄杨根雕《东郭与狼》、高公博的黄杨根雕《回眸》等一批精品,引起更多人的注足,久久不愿离去。各厂家、公司的展台更是大小各异、品种繁多、内容丰富、雅俗共赏。
