新课改直接面对的是我国基础教育的弊端,我国基础教育以前过分注重知识积累而忽视对人的能力及人生观价值观等方面的培养,这种陈旧的方式已不能适应现代社会对人才的需求。新课改把学生学习方式的养成和调整列为重要教学工作的重要目标,在新一轮基础教育课程改革下,课堂教学中该如何教会学生运用的学习策略,如何挖掘学生的潜能和尊重学生个性的发展,做到有的放矢,事半功倍,实现叶老说的“教是为了不教”的理念,认清英语教学中存在的问题,以英语改革创新为指导,合理构建英语教学新方向。
