This paper briefly introduced the general situation of saline-alkali land in Shizuishan, the achievements and existing problems in the improvement of saline-alkali land, proposed the development goals, key contents and safeguards for the improvement of saline-alkali land and formulated the strategy for the improvement and development of saline-alkali land in line with the scientific development concept and historical trend.
